About plants ? Plants threatened by EPA, thousands of workers could lose their jobs, but Texas used courts, they won't give up

And I don't have a problem to see Chinese plants in the US, it"s absolutely great to see them creating jobs and investing billions in the economy
It also helps that Texas receives significantly more Federal money than they provide thru taxes. The Fed Govt is a big moneymaker for Texas. In 2009, IRS received $163 bil from Texas and the State received $224 bil from the Govt. Good return, I'd say.

Why do liberal Californians run to Austin, TX when they are looking for relief from overtaxed and over-regulated California?

The fact that Perry is so violently against gays and lesbians makes him a target for exposing his "closet". A reporter once asked him if it was fair that a gay Iraq war veteran who fought for his country and then returns to Texas and. wants to marry his partner like everyone else. Perry's reply was that the gay veteran needs to pick another state because that's not going to happen in Texas. What has Perry ever sacrificed? Such an arrogant response to people who lay down their lives for this country typifies his behavior. That's one example of why gays detest him.
If Perry is conservative then he'll let the states decide for themselves and keep the feds out of the marriage business.

Equal protection is part of the business of the feds.

Do you feel that Loving v. Virginia was a case of the Federal govt overstepping its bounds onto states' rights?
