I wear my Ron Paul t-shirt proudly - I am one of the few intelligent Americans.

I think Ron Paul just gave himself the kiss of death. Unless he's figuring on capturing the extreme right vote . . .

As a Christian I have had discussions with myself on the topic of abortion. Personally, there is no way in hell that a woman bearing my child would have one, if I had any say in the matter. There is a point at which I would say that the abortion should not be allowed. There needs to be discussion as to what that point is.

You agree with almost everything but you are going to let one issue (which shouldn't even BE a political issue) dissuade you from voting for this guy?

Newsflash. There is no perfect candidate. You go with the one that represents most closely the things you think are the most important in terms of running this country and promoting the welfare of our society.

If abortion is #1 on your list, god help you.

You believe the Government has more sovereignty over an unborn child than the individual in biological charge of said?

That's perverted.

If you grant the Government the power to prevent abortion, you also grant the Government the power to force abortions - on the next vote of congress.

Good thing the Constitution disallows Congress that power.

People need to mind their own business.

Legally, you wouldn't have any say in the matter.

There are already limits on how late an abortion can be performed. I am not clear on whether you are referring to discussion between you and your partner on "when abortion would be allowed." I thought you were totally opposed to it, though. ?

Except when:

1) it's a molar pregnancy
2) it's a blighted ovum
3) there's a sac but no fetal pole
4) there's a sac and a fetal pole but no heartbeat
5) there's a sac and a fetal pole and a heartbeat, but no brain.

Shall I continue?
