If Romney wins the GOP nomination, will the tea party support Romney or try to get Cain to run as a Tea Party candidate?

Why would the Tea Party try to get Cain to run for anything?

I don't know, nor do I care. Ron Paul looks like he's running as a Libertarian if he doesn't get the GOP nod, so I'm gonna be voting 3rd party

Probably because the tea party isn't coming around yet to supporting Romney and Cain is getting the most support from GOP voters who identify with the tea party.

He just said in an interview with Chris Wallace that he would not run as a third party candidate. When Wallace asked him why, he said in Ron Paul fashion..."Because I don't want to". lol.

The Tea Party is not an actual political party, it is a movement. I am not sure where people get the idea that they have their own party...maybe the name???

Why would the Tea Party support a former Fed Chairman who supported TARP?

Why are they supporting him right now? That is where his support is coming from. I doubt Herman Cain has any interest in running as a third party candidate.

I doubt they will run Cain as a 3rd party candidate, the Tea Party isn't a political party. It is a group of people, some Republicans, some Democrats and some Independents.

That's the million dollar question that I don't really have an answer to. My best guess is media propaganda and brainwashing.
