I'm not surprised at all.

Look at all the rhetoric coming from the right. It's very anti-illegal/immigrant.

If you don't think the Cubans in Miami aren't concerned, think again. I mean, really, how hard would it be for Republicans to end the gravy train that is Cuban immigration?

If they are going to go after Mexicans, they have to go after Cubans too and they know this.

Many republicans think that he speaks "kenyan".

If Oblama only takes 62% of the Hispanic vote in Florida, he's toast. This poll is great news for Romney.

This is even with all the stuff about Bain having come out, with Newt's other attacks on Romney, and with more people learning more about Romney.

Furthermore, a poll conducted in 12 swing states (including Florida) was released in the past few days and had Romney leading Obama by 1 point.
One reason for the difference is that Marist and SUSA are the only pollsters to call cell phones and reach cell phone only households, which tend to be younger and much more Democratic.

RealClearPolitics - Election 2012 - General Election: Romney vs. Obama

Another poll I saw this morning and a key one, was that independents are in double digit numbers in support of Obama over Romney.
The poll in Dixie's bedroom. She likes to dance for Romney!

Default Latinos overwhelmingly for Obama; no question

Latinos overwhelmingly voting for Obama is the GE. So will blacks, asians, indians, gays, the young, women, the college-educated, college students, those who are underemployed, unemployed, historically discriminated against, the working class, the disadvantaged, the underprivileged, progressive whites, those who are racially inclusive, those who are racially-sensitive, those who are not bigots, those who live in the cities, and those who have not been swayed by the misguided Republican narrative.

As the party of the most bigoted segment of this country, the GOP stinks. Latinos now this.

Enjoy President Obama's second term.

Add Marco Rubio to the ticket and those numbers could be flipped to favor Romney.
