Drama queens? If they believe in their hearts that abortion ends the life of a child, how do you expect them to act when Obama uses the law to force them to give away free abortion pills?
A lot of democrats are finally waking up out of the fuzzy haze Obama-Mania had them walking around in.
She is still probably a democrat drone, but the veil has lifted a bit.
I they believe in their hearts that abortion ends the life of a child, then they should never, ever choose abortion. The key word here is BELIEVE. No one else should be forced to abide by another person's beliefs.
Here's what I don't understand. Liberals vehemently call out separation of Church and State whenever religion tries to ingratiate itself in the school system, etc. However, when the reverse is true and the state is trying to tell a religion to not follow their own doctrine, that's ok? Seems hypocritical.
98% of Catholics use contraception despite their church's teaching. As for the religious nut jobs (including the unmarried pederast Catholic Bishops) they didn't vote for Obama to begin with. No harm no foul.

Why is that so hard to understand???
They are told by the hierarchy to not understand it. The fact is, most Catholic women choose to ignore it. But, to the point of the thread, Obama will certainly lose 1 or 2 votes from the RW "anti-everything Obama sect". I wonder why this is now an issue, it's been in the Law since the beginning.

If the Catholic church wants to operate public institutions, then they have to follow public law.

Debbie...
Actually, doesn't matter. They have to follow it if they 50 employees; this HHS mandate is a result of Obamacare. Based on the recent Supreme Court ruling that churches can, in essence, discriminate, it would seem the unanimous decision signals which way the court would decide on this matter.

Not all methods of contraception are abortifacients; that's a fact. If the church truly wanted fewer abortions, they'd be in the forefront of sex education and doling out methods of birth control beyond advising the "rhythm method." That in itself is a tacit condoning of birth control. And now we learn that the Komen debacle had more to do with politics than principles:

Doesn't matter if they do or not. That's for Catholics themselves to get the church to change this doctrine. The government is telling the Catholic Church to not follow their doctrine due to the HHS regulation. That's a pretty clear violation of separation of church and state. I believe the Obama administration was caught flat-footed and did not foresee the unintended consequence of this regulation. My prediction is that some type of waiver will be awarded.

Is running a hospital or university an expression of religion? Is it worship?
