Ron Paul lost in no small part because he was marginalized by the mainstream media which is dominated by corporate interests. And big corporate donors want nothing to do with a candidate that can't be depended on to act in their favor. When Ron Paul supporters TRULY realize this ...they'll understand they have more in common with marginalized liberals than they do with so called mainstream conservatives.

That's not to say most voters would agree with Paul's economic policies. It's only his foreign policy, civil libertarian views than have a wide appeal.

Majority of Alaska's workforce are unionized oil people, maybe that's why.
