I'm not so sure about Kerry, but I've come to believe Gore would probably have done a better job with the effects of 9/11 than Bush did. For instance, I doubt he would have embarked us on a war against a tactic and probably wouldn't have told us to go the mall when we were waiting for a call to arms.

But, that's just speculation. It is what it is today.

You would honestly rather have a beer summit with Gore over Bush? Bush would be a much better buddy at a beer summit = better president, period.

That is why I am voting for Obama, his beer summits are awesome.

So a large fraction of the country faces this choice: re-elect a president with strong convictions that we totally oppose, or elect somebody different who may have a more fluid set of convictions.

We know what we will get with Obama, and don't like it. We don't know what we will get with Romney, but at least it has a chance to be different and better.

What you get with Mr. steal your pension and load up with debt Romney is a repeat of the last 30 years of failed Conservative economic theory. Once this is pounded on the media outlets the real issues will be seen and Romney will lose. Just ask Anne Colter

Yes, I'd rather have a beer with a fellow Vietnam Veteran than a war avoider who rode Daddy's influence to stay out of the war.

Call me prejudiced if you like, but that's how I feel about it.

And yet, he will still beat Obama. Go figure.

He will beat obama badly and it's gonna be great. The idiocy of the left as demonstrated on c-d forums is the reason why. obama is despised now by anyone with a brain and a little intellectual honesty. Romney loves America and wants everyone to be their best. obama is simply a Chicago thug who hates our country. The biggest flip-flopping liar to ever hold the office and it was fools like the op who made it happen. You clowns owe the country an apology and penance for what you've done to America.

So you are saying that this thread is ridiculous to focus on whether or not someone is boring or not as a presidential quality?
