A poster is arguing in a another thread that Romney shouldn't be held accountable for something one his senior advisors said to a major media news outlet. These are the people he is surrounding himself with. If they don't speak for him or are distorting his message, he should either replace them or refute what they say on his behalf. He has done neither.

Well yeah, it doesn't say much for his supposed legendary leadership skills that he's hired a bunch of buffoons. I'm just saying you can't impute a position or belief upon Romney based on what a campaign staffer, adviser, or surrogate says since Romney himself holds no positions or beliefs beyond what focus groups and polling tell him.
