No surprise.

The question is whether we want to trust the lives of 330 million Americans and countless billions of people to a bunch of narrow minded, bigoted and cruel people led by a latterday Brigham Young? We make this throw of the dice every 4 to 8 tears and we have been lucky so far, but one day our luck will run out and we will throw snake eyes!

Outside of this story causing more tingles down Chris Matthews legs, it serves no purposed at all.

It might come to this, after all we might discover that one of the candidates has always been anal retentive!

Bunch of pathetic hypocrites.
LOL...

so, owning 6 mansions with multiple cars is not elitist, but knowing what arugula is does.

Yep, sounds like the GOP. The ones who are for pink slime, "family valus" and bigotry.

Agreed! We "throw the dice" because people get their info from corporate-owned entertainment media posing as news.
With everybody talking about Romney and Obama, let's not forget about Congress. Nobody seems to be paying attention to Congress critters but they are equally important.
This ongoing media debate over the Presidency is a convenient diversion for the Right whose corporate lobbyists (along with their Tea Party dupes) own Congress now. They need to be exposed.
People tune in to Sunday morning TV for "balanced discussion" on the issues - a joke! These corporate-run shows book more rightist corporate conservatives (protected by the moderators) than they do moderates or liberals. Wonder why....

I'm guessing that the meetings of the Log Cabin Republicans are sparsely attended.

What that incident shows us is that Romney is anything but a leader. His underlings are telling him which way to spin. And he jumps to it.

More likely, someone, you know, those anonymous donors, in one of those "independent" superpacs of Mittens had a hiss fit when they heard the news of the gay guy being added. You know how they're completely independent...

If so, it shows what is wrong with politics, everyone is playing to what the money people want.

Just started on this thread, and don't know if this has been brought up yet, but in 1965, supposedly the year of this incident, Romney was 18. He was an adult by today's standards.

Yep, if you could drink beer and get sent to Nam you were an adult.

Mitt Romney’s prep school classmates recall pranks, but also troubling incidents - The Washington Post

... What a surprise! Scratch these privileged little buttoned-down mama's boys, and you'll ALWAYS a bully lurking underneath.

These could be seen as wayward incidents from a youth spent seeking a path in life. Except psychologists tell us our basic nature is set by age five ( Any of us who have raised kids can attest to the truth of that).

These stories will resonate, because they illustrate a central truth about Romney's nature that only get exposed accidentally in bits and pieces when he lets his guard down- that he's got a bossy, sadistic, passive-aggressive streak a mile wide, and he takes it out on people who can't defend themselves, who he thinks are "below his station" in life.

No wonder Romney doesn't "relate" to normal people. He isn't one.
All of which has been disproved, but you will continue the lies 'cause it's all ya got..!
