He`s flip flopped on gun control, immigration,Reagan`s policies,no tax pledge and minimum wage laws ...for starters.
No...he has consistently been against illegal immigration and amnesty. He vetoed a bill in MA that would have given illegals in-state tuition at public colleges/universities and started a program that would have allowed state police to enforce immigration laws (but Deval Patrick took over before the plan could be impelemented and he reversed it). His views on Reagan and whether or not to sign a no tax pledge are not issues. He has not changed is views on minimum wage laws...his stance has always been that the minimum wage should be indexed to inflation, but not increased in real dollars.
On gun control, he did sign state legislation banning assault weapons as governor but he never said he was for a federal ban on assault weapons. The legislation he signed also expanded gun rights, making it easier to get guns other than assault weapons and expanding rights for hunters. To my knowledge he has never said he thinks states should not be able to ban assault weapons.

Exactly. Also when it comes to gun rights - with modern technology it's easier to perform background checks instantly whereas in the past it was more necessary to have a waiting period. Changing your position to keep up with changing technology is a good thing.
Also, nobody disagrees about Romney's "flip flop" on abortion. I wouldn't call a genuine evolution a flip flop though, especially since his change of heart was one consistent with his personally held beliefs (as evidenced by the number of women he counseled against abortions as a Mormon bishop) and it corresponded to a major perspective change in his life (he entered the policy-making field for the first time in his life)
Poor op...Romney said long ago he "evolved" on the issue, was once for abortion and now against it. Surely, evolving on an issue is .....good, right?
Obama going from being pro-gay marriage to anti-gay marriage back to pro-gay marriage is evolving, Romney going from being pro-choice to pro-life is flip flopping. You have to love the way liberals think.
