Except the military cannot quit.
The military cannot speak out.
The military cannot walk off the job.
The military cannot request a pay raise.

Shall I go on?

And that right there is a huge, huge reason why unions should be abolished.

Believe me, I feel for you.

None of that changes the fact that every member of the military is directly funded by taxpayer dollars just like the other public employees that are being bashed in this thread.

The items that you listed are examples of what happens to people when they do not have someone like a union to represent them when pay and benefits are negotiated.

What a crock....I am retired Military, and right now I can quit my job, I can also ask for a pay raise, but best of all, I can speak out and not worry and anything coming back at me.

We understand you hate the military, and that is you right, but you cannot lump them in unions....or not having a union, we signed very specific paperwork on what we can and cannot do when we joined....

Public unions work for us, the people. We will tell them where to get off.
Fire them all.
