Do you not realize many hispanics do not speak English or speak very little. There is nothing wrong with reaching people with ads that they can understand. It's very smart actually. Why should it bother anyone...it's silly. The clip of Mitt Romney's son posted, was in Peurto Rico, so it's pretty obvious why he was speaking Spanish. His Spanish is also actually very fluent. He did his church mission in a Spanish speaking country and therefore speaks very good Spanish.

Why?

Maybe it's time that we have a president that quits the pandering by race/ethnicity/nationality and speak to the AMERICAN people, do something to unify not divide.

Out of many, ONE. We must be united by our common allegience to the USA, our common language.

I'll give you only one guess as to what is the most common second language in the world to learn is. Here's a hint: It isn't Spanish.

One of the benefits of having the most powerful, most influential nation is that your language becomes the de facto common language of the world. In other words, beyond communicating with immigrants who refuse to learn our language, there is no reason for American citizens to learn a Spanish.
Yes, that's what's also pathetic -- these people are being encouraged to cling to their old-country ways, never make any effort to learn English, to understand anything in English but the immigrants such as those coming from India, China, and other countries that are not reluctant to learn English -- often long before they show up here, will quickly move to the top.

Like it or not, English is the language of the world and many people even born in the USA are making the decision to never learn it. And it's sad that politicians in both parties are catering to this refusal to ever learn English.

Maybe with all the stuff coming out about Peña-Nieto, Romney could head back to his father's country, replace him as his party's candidate and bring his ads with him. Vicente Fox is sure to throw in some support for him.
