Ever thought of moving. Serious question. If you honestly want a bigger government, with more power, and with more socialist like tendencies, there are other countries you can move to. We can not continue to be the United States of America if we were to go in that direction.

Yes, I have considered moving but, just as I felt I had a duty to this country when I joined the Navy and when I volunteered for duty in "Nam, I feel I have a duty to work to make this country a better place to work and live for everybody. That is why I am active in state and local politics and why I can make statements as I did in my previous posts. Most of the people in this country, including many small businesses, are being injured by the financially powerful and do need a government that will protect them from economic and social predation. The wealthy are economic predators with Mr. Romney being a fine example of the breed.

I have observed that the upper crust financial predators do not need, but often buy, government help. They are trained (but not educated) in special schools that continuously tell then the “return on investment” and “the bottom line” are the only things they must consider. The rest of the training is a set of complex methods to concentrate personal and corporate wealth at the expense of suppliers, customers and small shareholders.

This behavior is not moral or ethical. It is predatory and has gotten out of control. Instead of these people being protectors of small share holder’s wealth they have become consumers of that wealth. It is similar to the sheep dogs that are supposed to guard the flock joining the wolves and destroying the flock that could have kept the alive forever in a destructive orgy that destroys the food supply for both guard dogs and wolves. This greed driven gluttony destroys all of the economy except for a few predators that have to eventually turn on themselves for sustenance. This eventually weakens the society and economy to the point that external predators can take over. Our own financiers, in their lust for power and money, have cut deals that will eventually make our economy into a colony of China. These are deals with the Devil and the dealers do not care because they will be protected from collapse by the wealth they have sequestered in secure places.

We do not need a more high finance friendly government we need a government that will protect most of us, including the smaller business community, from being destroyed by the money obsessed psychopaths dominating our finances and government. So, although I have looked into moving, I will stay here and continue the fight because this country is as much mine as it is yours.

  • Mitt Romney 95% - I side with Mitt Romney on issues of Domestic policy, the Economy, Immigration, Healthcare, and Social.
  • Ron Paul 83% - I side with Ron Paul on issues of the Economy, Healthcare, Immigration, and Domestic policy.
  • Gary Johnson 80% - I side with Gary Johnson on issues of the Economy, Domestic policy, Healthcare, and Science.
  • Barack Obama 33% - I side with Barack Obama on issues of Science.
95% Republican
82% Libertarian
33% Democratic
11% Green
The problem with this website is that it makes the erroneous assumption that all the candidates are being truthful in their positions. Yet there is not a single President that has ever kept their campaign promises. In fact most presidential candidates make promises that they know they cannot keep.

I will most certainly not be voting for any of the candidates listed above.

See which presidential candidate you side with in 2012
this is why he will go backwards instead of forward. He is from a small state, has been out of politics for 10 years and isn't what one would call a dinamic personality. That being said, some of his ideas are worth thinking about seriously.

I can not say which candidate comes closest to mirroring my views, even Paul does in many ways, but Romney comes the closest to not believing in issues I can not accept. That is why he has my full support. I wish we could have had a different Republican running in Nov. and yet, I think Romney has some good ideas, and has accomplished a lot..His handling of the Olympics was a huge success for starters.

I agree with you, at least in part. I do think Romney will be a vast improvement over Obama. However, I also give Romney as much credibility as I give Obama, which is to say none at all. What Romney says now contradicts his past actions, just like Obama.

So while I might agree with 95% of what Romney says, the question becomes does Romney believe what he says?

1. Paul 90%

2. Johnson 88%

3. Romney 79% - not bad, but like Glitch, I have no confidence in a correlation between what Romney says and what he does.

4. McMillan - never heard of him, but 72% nonetheless. Interesting.

Last. Obama 33%(100% on the science) - as a former (socially) left-leaning independent, I thought it would be higher.

Well stated, I hope you are wrong. I did want to take the test, but I couldn't find it. I used the website posted I thought.

I came out in support of Jill Stein (Green Party) 91%
And Obama 84%
Romney 51%

Probably due to my interest in environmental issues. I think they are fundamental. I don't get a damn about gays, guns, or religion. Those are personal issues that really don't affect me.

Ron paul. But, I don't support all of his stances, and I'm on the fence with the whole gold standard thing, and adamantly disagree with free trade. Also, I don't like the whole cult of personality thing going on with him. It makes me uncomfortable and it reminds me of Obama in 2007 and 2008.
