GOP Leads Generic Congressional Ballot By 7 Points (voters, campaign, Democrats)

Republicans lead Democrats by seven points on the Generic Congressional Ballot for the week ending Sunday, June 17.
A new Rasmussen Reports national telephone survey shows that 45% of Likely U.S. Voters would vote for the Republican in their district’s congressional race if the election were held today, while 38% would choose the Democrat instead. Republicans led by six points the week before, 45% to 39%, and seven points 44% to 37%, the week before that.

The difference on election day 2010 was ten points, so we could be looking at another massive drubbing of Congressional Democrats this year.

Last time they were up by 7 was around the 2010 elections.

When they were tied with dem/dems slightly ahead, that was 1994.

As we get closer to November and people realize what it will mean if the dems keep control of the senate not to mention regain any seats in the house, that number will widen. I think the country is done with dems for awhile. The Republicans will have two years to get it right this time. God help us all if they don't.

Not this time. This time they will take the lead from the GOP governors who are handling their respective states with good, successful policy.
