The convention is going to be overrun with Ron Paul supporters. I'll be surprised if Romney even shows up.
Maybe it will be like the 1968 democratic convention in Chicago where the left wing went nuts and rioted in the streets.
I can see it now, Ron Paul Supporters ripping up the palm trees and rampaging through the streets in desperation while the republican heirarchy sit inside on soft guilded chairs.
The goal of Ron Paul's campaigns have always been to educate the population about liberty.
That's funny- I always thought Paul's goal was to be President. He sure acted like he wanted the job when he was actively campaigning, and his supporters all still would like to see him in the White House.
This nonsense about liberty education sounds like a truck load of sour grapes to me. Or maybe just another failed attempt at moving the goal posts before the game is over.
Romney's 500 supporters vs. Ron Paul's 100,000 strong in Tampa.
Just curious, do you drink a lot, or only when posting?
Paul is road kill, it seems some don't realize he will not be getting up and pretending to be alive any minute
I'll be drinking to Ron Paul when he wins the Republican nomination in Tampa.
What do you think your screenname will be then since you change it every other week now?
Perhaps you should suggest to Ron Paul to do the same, the only way he is going to hear his name at the nomination is if he has it legally changed....to Mitt Romney

Obviously, you haven't been paying attention to Dr. Paul's message, listened to him speak, or read his books. Dr. Paul's books are about economics, monetary policy, history, liberty, and our Constitution. In contrast, Obama's books are "all about himself". Speaks to the character of the man, IMO. YMMV

This seems like a limited view imo. Don't even see how it has any relation to "sour grapes" either.
Certainly changing things for the better has always been the primary goal as I see it. Running for Pres is simply a means to that end. Neither are mutually exclusive.

I admit that I have not read any of his books, but I have viewed many of his videos, including every one of them that has been posted here on CD.
I do not agree with his monetary policies or his economics. I also do not agree with his thoughts about our military bases overseas.
I understand all of them fully. I educated myself on Ron Paul. But I don't agree with him, and my disagreement does not speak either to the character of Dr. Paul or mine. I don't make any character assumptions of any candidate, whether I like him or dislike him. I do not believe most politicians are crooks, hate America, are all out to only line their pockets or any of that. I know some are crooks, but I never automatically assume a candidate is until it's proven.
For sure, I never assume a candidate is any of those things because of which party he is a member. And I never take any partisan's word for a candidate.

You don't agree with his monetary policy or economic record yet he was one of the few to see the Housing crash that ruined the economy and he told us the exact reasons why it would happen and he was correct.
You don't agree with his foreign policy which not only is in step with the constitution but told us our policy of using force to occupy countries while protecting oil interests would make us less safe and to expect an attack. He was correct.
Why support the failed policies of the previous presidents?
Romney will be an afterthought come September. Ron Paul will take it all.
OK,well i'll be here in September,[and still using the same screen name],waiting for your big moment to come gloat under the banner of your latest screen name.
