I am not saying the projection is wrong or inaccurate.

I am saying that the projection has Romney in striking distance not as an Obama blow out. If Romney holds the states they give him credit for and if he flips Florida and Michigan he wins.

Seriously, please read.

Read yourself, and just show us someone, anyone who agrees with you. Otherwise you've got nuthin' but a bunch of lonely, half-baked "possibilities" with no basis in reality (which is typical of 'winger desperation these days...)!

President Obama agrees with me and if not then he should fire his campaign manager.

Michigan is obviously in play or otherwise Obama wouldn't be spending as much money here and visiting here as much.

Just to reiterate, because it is obvious that you either aren't reading my posts or comprehending them, what I am saying is: Obama is up in the electoral college today. However, his lead is actually small. If Romney were to hold the states he has and flip Florida, Wisconsin, and Iowa (all tight races) he would win. Or if he were to hold what he has and flip Florida and Michigan he would win.

If you look at Real Clear Politics:

RealClearPolitics - 2012 Election Maps - Electoral Map

If you give Romney all of the states that he is currently up in. Then have Romney come back and take the lead in Michigan where he trails by a small 1.4% and in Florida where he trails by another small amount of 1.8%....then Romney has 269 electoral votes -- enough to send the election to the House -- which the Republicans control. Result? Romney wins.

Point? The electoral college is close, it is not a land slide.

ElectoralVote

Hilarious.

Keep in mind that the libs continually look to polls that-

a. over sample democrats
b. sample registered voters, not likely voters

Here is a reality check for you. Look at the polls of those voters over 40 (the likely voters). Bo loses BIG, as the young and minorities do not show up this election. 2008 was an aberration, as young and minority voters showed up in record numbers. Fast forward to 2012- economy in the dumps and no enthusiastic throngs for Obama. What happens? Bo loses BIG.

Please read each line carefully and very slowly...then ask me if you have any questions.

1) Yes, Obama is currently favored to win in the electoral college.

2) No, that is not guaranteed to hold until election day.

3) Yes, Obama is currently favored to win in Michigan.

4) No, Obama is not guaranteed to win in Michigan, he is only up 1.4% there per RCP, Obama realizes this as he spends $$$ on campaign ads here and visits here.

5) Although Romney is currently not favored to win in the electoral colleges, polls show that he can win in Florida and Michigan -- He trails in each of those states by less than 2% per RCP. If he could flip those 2 states and hold the ones he is up in, he would win the presidency. Hence it is much close than a landslide.
