It is my opinion that Democrats tend to get away with a bit more risky jokes, comments and opinions. You may have your opinion and I have mine. Please don't have a chip on your shoulder simply because I have an opinion that Democrats get more of a leash for such comments.
That thread is a direct slam at Obama. A duel, OTOH, could go either way. And their once was a duel on the floor of congress. Maybe you can see the difference, or not.

It's my opinion that people who thing such things as the bold have a chip on their shoulder. The complaints about this forum seem to be of two varieties:

A. "Liberals" get away with too much.
B. "Conservatives" get away with too much.

I have stated before that I don't like these "If a (insert name of party here) had said this, the s*** would really hit the fan from the (insert name of other party) posts. It's so whiny. I don't care for threads like "(Insert name of candidate) sign stolen from front yard, and people go off about the other party. I don't condone such behavior by anyone, but no one party has a corner on dirty tricks or, OTOH, righteousness.

You do realize that a lot of jokes are "slams" at someone even if ever so subtle. So you do have a problem with the joke aimed at Obama and Bill Clinton???

I didn't have a sincere problem with the joke on this thread, do you have one of joke aimed at Democrats and silverware?
