"Back in Chains"??? Tell me......who else in America was put in chains besides black people? I am so sick and tired of this administration ans it's insidiously divide and conquer, scorched-earth tacts! They don't care what they say or do to win!! Accusing Romney of Murder, Tax Evasion and now wanting to put blacks back in chains???

And you know what?? Sadly my people wouldn't shake their heads in disbelief at that idiotic statement. Noooo....they would cheer him on and the media won't touch him!!!

Close your eyes for a moment and imagine John Boenher or Eric Cantor sayin something like this!!

Biden on Romney: They're going to put y'all back in chains!' - YouTube

Whoopie de doo. Rick said the same thing when he was referring to Obamacare (read Rick's comment below) so what makes that remark any different? I know the Conservatives are trying to grab anything and everything to divert the attention to this Medicare story and not releasing tax return story, but really, come on Conservatives, you can do better than this. Accusing Dems for being racist is laughable. Polls have show an overwhelming favor from the African American and Latino voters for Obama so you can throw the racist card out all you want, it's not gonna work. Not with this President or his Vice President. I smell "DESPERATION"!

Rick Santorum invoked chains last summer to warned Iowa voters that health care reform would lull citizens into government dependency. “They will put you in chains called ‘Obamacare,’ and you will never break away,” Santorum said.

I like the way that some of you are ready to jump on such a non-issue considering all of the things that have been said about blacks from rush to rick to newt and back to mitt himself and you all going to assume that blacks are stupid enough not to realize that he was speaking about the economic hold that banks would have over everyone and not just blacks if regulations were loosen.

It's a disgrace, but black people it up. Absolutely disgusting.

BS! You did not have it before so why stop now

Indeed, if we raise our focus just a bit higher to a global plane, China is now "the rich" and we are the "borrower" and "slave".

They could call the loan any time they feel like it, and we're done.

Same is true of those on government subsidies (fully dependent on the government). Once Obama gets you settled into the dependent role and you're willing to be comfortable there, you're a slave. No wonder he's expanding the food stamp program, raising the poverty level, and wants to cut a few more surplus checks. Redistribution is the key word in his program; he's barely begun and he needs the second term to fully implement it.

If you're a success, you didn't get there through your own efforts and you're obligated to share the fruits of your labors with those who labored less (or not at all).

He wants us to believe he's going after the uber-wealthy. He's really after the middle class and he'll sneak in the back door while we're not looking.

Are you counting the oil and farm subsidies as well? Is'nt that a form of welfare?

The ones that can actually read won't and the ones that can't get everything that they know from the ones that won't. Anyone who heard the whole speech knew damn well that he was talking about the banks. If the so-called "righteous" was really concerned about black people why were they so silent during the primaires

Well, when they have nothing else to attack, attack a phantom issue. Weak and desperate.

So true.

Today's Democrat party is nothing but a modern day plantation.

What makes you think that blacks are so dumb that we cannot tell the difference between actual racism and figurative speech? Why would we as blacks, latinos women, elderly and the poor vote against our own best interest? What makes people like yourself believe that we can be mislead by someone who obiviously cares more about maintaining his wealth and hiding from the American people something as simple as a tax return? Most people thinking people will not vote for a man who runs on a platform of being a job creator but yet took joy in firing people and bankrupting companies. People who think on thier own would wonder why a presidential candidate would rarely mention their record as governor of a state that he once ran into the ground.
