A surprise, so that the press corps did not have a heads-up. If they had a heads-up, they could have thought of questions they've wanted to ask him for the months since his last presser.
One must wonder why Obama always has to be prodded into things and why he just doesn't do the right thing in the first place.
In this nationally televised BS session, he claims, among other things, that he never heard of or knew of Senator Reid's "didn't pay his taxes" attack on Romney.
Talk about being out of touch?
He also claimed his campaign never called Romney a felon.
I'm pretty sure his nose grew about 4 inches while telling those two whoppers!
Call it what you want. I was impressed by Obama's discussion of the problems in Syria and Afghanistan. Obama is truly on the ball on foreign policy. Romney, on the other hand, had nothing but slogans, vague goals, and flag waving to do when asked similar questions later in the day. The contrast was stark. Romney/Ryan are ill-prepared to lead the country. If we are toing to have America to the worlds policemen, then we had better have a chief who knows the neighborhood.

So, you're not denying that Obaby lied through his teeth at the press conference. That's progress.
As if Obama actually has any type of plan for either of those two topics???
And of course like a typical lapdog, you don't even CARE about two BLATANT lies at all.
What's that say about the man's character? I guess character means nothing to Liberals.
I also guess that if he ever met with his Cabinet and Jobs Council we might be able to at least THINK he's doing something to help Americans get JOBS and/or fix the ECONOMY. Those are the important issues to his constituents.
Obviously telling lies and campaigning on those lies is his first priority.
As far as the "I had no knowledge of that" defense, I seriously hate it when politicians do that. That stupid CYA crap where everyone else knows you knew. Frustrates me when any of those politicians do it, but it keeps happening on both sides anytime they have the opportunity.
For the second lie though, when did Obama's campaign say Romney was a felon?
The facts are, federal fillings say he worked at Bain through 2002, Romney told the public that he retired in 1999. Since those are conflicting statements, one of them has to be false. I highly doubt that Romney committed a felony by lying on a federal fillings so odds are that the statement that he retired in 1999 wasn't entirely the truth.
Maybe he stopped actively working at Bain but came on from time to time in a more consulting manner but they still left him on at the position he was at. I don't know though.
Pointing out a conflicting statement isn't saying that Romney is a felon. It's saying that he could be, based on statements he himself made.
No problems with the word "or" at all. What part of that are you stuck on?
Where's YOUR proof that Romney IS a felon?
If Romney were a private citizen, he could sue them for slander/libel.
Not only did Stephanie Cutter say Romney could be a felon, but the Obama Campaign even did an attack as with the word "felons" underneath Romney's name:

What Stephanie Cutter said was not slander/libel it was stating that Romney had conflicting statements and that if one of them were true then he could have committed a felony, that's not debasement of character that's truth.
As for the picture....you know the source for that picture and blurb, right?
That comes from Fox News' coverage of one of the Republican debates. They asked people to tweet with a #answer if they felt the candidate answered the question or #dodge if they dodged the question.
The felons highlight comes from Fox News graphic team and it was to point out the large spike of #dodge tweets when Santorum and Romney were asked about felons voting.
The tax records highlight comes from when they asked Romney about releasing his tax records.
