Many Catholics lost faith and left the church when the pedophile priests were exposed. So yes, the church did leave them. If a priest were to get an innocent child pregnant would you be against an abortion for them?

All of my family members are religious catholics and I was raised one, so I know quite a bit about Catholic teachings- certainly not an expert. My mother's old Catholic Bible (circa early 60s) has an intro verse in it that says that it is "the one true word of God the Father" and that ANYONE who believes other versions or changes to the one Holy Bible is committing a grave sin. It especially referenced the King James version. How can a true stringent Catholic vote for a man who believes in a wholly different holy book (Book of Mormon) than the Holy Bible of the RC church?
Read the Catechism of the Church. Yoiu can find it online. Those who are living a good life in their own faith is not condemned.

I would be against abortion, any abortion except for the life of the mother and the baby would probably die anyway in that case.
