Oh I forgot, those University eggheads always want to use that silly scientific and sound statistically accurate methodology. Yep, nothing to see here.

If you support Romney though I would applaud polls like this. If polls are wrong showing Obama with a lead he does not have many of those who came out in 2008 that never voted before will stay home in the belief that Obama has it in the bag.
Exactly conservatives and right leaning independents do not get swayed by polls on Nov. 6 or earlier depending on state go out and vote. This election will be like gay marriage where the media says everyone supports it yet time and time again it fails.

Of course they are wrong. When is the last poll to get it right? With most not having home land lines the polls have been skewed. The only acurate poll is on election day at the voting booth!

Real question is - Why, the h*ll, didn't "your GOP" nominate someone sensible, like Huntsman? I'd probably vote for Huntsman.

Better get the wingnuts out of that party, and fast.

Pew: Obama up by 8

Quote:
Not only does Obama enjoy a substantial lead in the horserace, he tops Romney on a number of key dimensions. His support is stronger than his rival’s, and is positive rather than negative. Mitt Romney’s backers are more ardent than they were pre-convention, but are still not as enthusiastic as Obama’s. Roughly half of Romney’s supporters say they are voting against Obama rather than for the Republican nominee. With the exception of Bill Clinton in 1992, candidates lacking mostly positive backing have lost in November.

I love how people compare the accuracy of polls taken today with the last poll taken right before the election to compare them. Anyone want to ask Senator Martha Coakley from MA how that worked out?

^^That's amazing. Even in WI, we are now hearing Tammy Baldwin is ahead of Tommy Thompson for the Senate. That one I DON'T believe. Thompson is an institution in this state. Baldwin is pretty much a Madison far-left liberal and a lesbian. It will be too much for the WI electorate. She will not win.
