Right, because the people in City-Data politics are representative of the population as a whole. Just like the dummies who say on video they vote for Obama for the free phones, by your standards,
Obama is clearly a Marxist, a communist to the core. While the U.S. is not Communist at this point, nor is what Obama advocates truly Communist positions, he has to water down his ultimate goals to that of a Socialist position.

Under definitions, Obama is clearly a Communist guiding us under Socialism.
It is blatantly obvious to anyone but the ignorant that Barack Obama is a Communist, yet so many people still support him. Why?
For decades we engaged in a Cold War with the Soviets to put an end to Communism, a Marxist market system that discourages freedom in favor of the state. While America is not at the same point as the former Soviet Union or the republics of Eastern Europe, it is readily clear that the president wants us to move in that direction.

Obama stands for an ideology that is blatantly unAmerican and against everything this country was founded on. Yet, you still support him. Why?
Consider the following:
Obama wants to redistribute the wealth. This basically means that he favors taking from the workers (haves) and giving to the have-nots (non-workers) through the force of the state. This is not charitable giving, something that we should all do. Rather, this is tyranny.
Obama uses the radical environmentalist agenda to support the destruction of private enterprise. Consider his previous calls for bankrupting the coal industry, as well as his support for Cap & Trade, a policy that would put caps on emissions from industry. Such a policy would force companies to close, which would result in a lot of people being out of work. This is Marxism.

Obama believes that if you're successful, "you didn't build that". This is rejection of the individual in favor of the collective, a Marxist viewpoint.
Think about it, do you really support such an individual who is:

Anyone who thinks that Obama (or anyone else) is a Communist because they believe in the progressive income tax system; the right of government to regulate; the right of government to tax and spend for specific social goals, etc., needs to go back to school.
By their definition of "communist" the founding fathers were communists.
By the reasoning of the likes of Sound of Music and Hawkeye, Franklin Roosevelt was a commie. Yet, the USA somehow has retained a decidedly capitalist economy. Indeed, Ike and Nixon (who proposed a guaranteed minimum income/reverse income tax, and who instituted price controls) were evidently both commies. Further, every country in Western Europe, the UK, and Canada are all communist states.

Obama isn't even a proper European style social democrat, much less a commie. For goodness' sake: I'm far to the left of our President, who is himself no farther to the left than FDR, a man who basically saved capitalism through far more aggressive social welfare and financial industry regulation measures than what Obama has supported. This thread with an endless number of vid clips on the OP ought to be closed.
