Romney made a mess in Massachusetts as governor (unemployment, vote, Congress)

When Romney was running for governor, he was giving the same exact campaign speeches he is giving today. He said he was a business guy and knew all about the economy. When Romney was governor, his state ranked 47th out of 50th in job creation. The people of Massachusetts will tell you that he was a disastrous economic leader who left the state in debt. If you want to get a glimpse of the job Romney would do as president, look at his tenure as governor. It's not a pretty picture and with the economy improving and unemployment nor under 8%, I don't see how anyone would want to vote for Romney, especially looking at his record as governor. Do people hate Obama so much they are willing to say to hell with the country?
Here are the facts when Romney was governor of Massachusetts
Romney's policies in Massachusetts
1 Jobs: 47th out of 50 states in job creation
Which doesn't account for population growth. The state had (and still has) anemic population growth compared to the country as a whole. Moreover, when you look at the figures year by year, his first year in office the state was #50 in job creation and his last they were #28.
The state's population grew by about 25,000 while he was governor yet over 50,000 jobs were created. The US population has grown by over 7 million since Obama has been president. Where are the 21 million jobs since Obama has been president (I'm sure you think the job creation number has to be three times the population growth to be acceptable, right?). The net number of jobs created under Obama is pretty close to zero, actually.

No, middle class taxes did not increase while Romney was governor.
It is difficult to create jobs in a state with sub 5% unemployment during the term. Who would fill them?
Actually, his unemployment was low because people were leaving the state in record numbers.
I have a client now from Mass and asked them what they thought of the Gov... they said he was constantly at odds with the democrats and couldn't get anything done. He promised anything he thought people wanted to hear. Over all they thought he was a sad excuse for gov. They called the state taxachusettes.

They used to call our state Taxachusetts and it dates to well before Romney was our governor.
And it's funny how you will blame Obama's failures to get anything done on the 55% of the Congress that is Republican but you blame Romney's failures on himself when the MA legislature was 90% Democrat.
Nothing like hearing from a failed Presidential candidate.
Does anyone know if the credit rating of the state of Massachusetts was downgraded during Mitt's term?
I believe the rating increased from AA- to AA in 2005.
