Here's a video. SNL, aka Saturday Night Live spoofs MSNBC, aka I'm not even sure but possibly MicroSoftNationalBroadbastingSystem, post debate, aka AFTER debate meltdown, aka emotional collapse.
Yeah saw it. Would have been funnier had thier ideologies not gotten in the way.
Back in the day Dan Aykroyd would have played Chris "The Tingler" Matthews. I can just imagine a cut away shot of Aykroyd trying to hang himself or with a gun in his mouth. Gilda Radner as the Madcow stuffing Valium in large quantites and Garret Morris doing Sharpton raving as a Black Militant.
Now that would have freaking funny. SNL lost its edge somewhere in the 1990's
Good stuff, SNL, Letterman and Leno all lost me as a viewer when they became political. Dont mind a few jokes about politics, but when thier show is nothing more than bashing one side, who wants to watch...
SNL did a fair job of getting a woman to look a bit like "that woman" from MSNBC but she didn't have a near long enough neck to look like Maddow, for real.
The SNL thing was very funny, especially Reverend Al throwing out excuses for Obama's failure to do any better than he did. That guy did great job of imitating, although the only thing he had that looked like Reverend Al was his mustache.

Yes, Letterman has become an extension/ Field Office Representative for the WH Press Office.
