"One industry in America has increased its employment base in the last four years by 176,000 people: the United States government," U.S. Sen. Johnny Isakson, a Marietta Republican, told a group of community leaders at an Oct. 11 luncheon in Cobb County.

PolitiFact Georgia | Need a job? Obama's hiring, Georgia senator says.

To bad the private sector hiring is so slow.

Well, he did dramarically increase the dispensing of entitlements to those who do not want to work, so I guess you could say that he created jobs for those people.

The job? To be his supporters.

Historically speaking. that's pathetic when compared to the 1,000,000+ new jobs which were created in a single month (Sept. 1983) when Reagan was Presidentl; during the corresponding month during the administration of 'President Pass-The-Buck', a paltry 45,000 jobs were created, as the WSJ reported recently.

Some 'recovery', huh?

Private Hiring since 2000... best to worst by fiscal year:
2005 2259
2006 2039
2011 2024
2012 1857

2004 1711
2007 989
2010 384
2003 -238
2001 -1113
2002 -1619
2008 -1664
2009 -6525

In fact, if you like job growth in private sector, then there hasn't been a better period since 2000 that spans 32 months straight now, adding 4.73 million jobs. And that is with traitors trying their best to discourage confidence in the economy to score political points.

Given that the Republicans are fighting every effort to create jobs, I would say your news is welcome. Thank you President Obama, for doing what you can to keep Americans working.

Meanwhile, this is how Republicans support their troops....
