North Carolina's third most populated county is seeing record numbers in early voting and the majority are democrats. Guilford County has almost half a million people and its two largest cities are Greensboro and High Point.

According to the Board of Elections:

• Nearly 55 percent of early voters (59,843) are registered Democrats. Another 28 percent (31,019) are Republicans, and 17 percent (18,427) are unaffiliated.

3,419 in Guilford County registered during early voting and the vast majority of those people are democrats.

A recent Elon University poll shows a tie between Romney and Obama in NC.

More good news for Mitt Romney.

Obama won Guilford County 59%-41% in 2008. In order to repeat or better that, Obama is going to need way more than 55% of the ballots to be cast by registered Democrats.
