In 2008, Democrats won the House and Senate too. This had nothing to do about race. Our country was free falling and most of our Allies hated us. Bush also barely won in 2004 and at the end of 2008, things were going even worse. WHEN Obama wins again, if things are bad in 2012, you can expect Republicans to win the Senate and keep the House.

They just got caught up in the emotion, just like the Germans in the early '30s. I can forgive people for an irrational, emotional decision. However, after four years of abject failure and incompetence, voting for four more years of this is simply moronic.

No one benefits from four more years of Obama. Why would any rational citizen want more of this?

8 years of a Republican President, mainly George Bush Jr was enough.
Obama's stars aligned. It could have been Hillary, it could of been Edwards (skip that)
anyone but another Republican like Bush. Oh, and anyone but Palin.

Yep, Obama was in the right place at the right time - a very lucky politician.
