If it were to happen, is it possible that it could just result in funds that WOULD go to a bloated federal agency and the cost of running it to the states instead...?

No, they wouldn't. That is akin to saying we don't want FEMA but don't do away with the money, just give it to the states because we can do better even though all things point to them not seeing as so many of them are in dire straights as it is financially. Hell, Indiana and Illinois can't even run their own state lotteries. How in the hell would they run natural disasters?
Next Romney says to turn it over to the private sector. Really, natural disasters for profit now! Better yet, it would be private companies getting federal (ergo tax payer) dollars and a nice markup since they have to make a profit. There you go, thanks but no thanks.
Thee is only one answer to this idiot. On election day, "ELIMINATE ROMNEY".
please be quiet about who we elect for president, we sure as hell dont instruct you on the mess in your country, so stay out of our politics.
