Jerry Brown: If Trump wins, California might need a wall of its own | The Sacramento Bee

...that would be a huge boost to Trump. Elect him President and wall off California and Mexico!

Didn't you just post something about Hillary lying and then you post this with the title "Jerry Brown endorses Trump"? Freudian slip?

Jerry Brown is very afraid of Donald Trump.... If you didn't already know that.
I bet they do need the tax base to increase by any means possible, not decrease. Even if that means, bringing all of Mexico & Central America, to California.

I'd be all for a wall around CA! The problem is, good old Moonbeam will need it to keep people IN... Having lived there and actually talked to Moonbeam it's my opinion he's about the slickest snake oil salesman I've ever seen.
Candidates should go to him for election schooling, seriously, if that P.O.S. can keep getting elected he should be sought out as the professor of electioneering!

If they still assign John Steinbeck's Grapes of Wrath as a reading in High School or if you've seen the movie based on te novel staring a young Henry Fonda, it wasn't so long ago (1930s) California indeed had border controls to keep the white trash from Oklahoma and other Dust Bowl states out. Okies were put in internment camps or simply turned back at places like Needles CA where US66 (Today I40) crosses from Arizona to CA at the Colorado river. If interned they had to find a CA sponsor to claim them and take them out of the camps . This is where CA growers and farmers got cheap labor prior to bringing in Mexicans after the Depression ended, war production ramped up and the supply of Okies dried up.

Even in the 1960s California had Agricultural Control Checkpoints at the state borders where one had to stop while Calf Officers checked the vehicle to see if you were attempting to bring into California uninspected fruits, vegetables or nuts which might have carried insect pests or plant diseases considered to be a threat to California's multibillion dollar agricultural industry. They confiscated these things for destruction (I think they burned such stuff).

They still have the agricultural checkpoints.

We would need to keep Trump away from Silicon Valley too. Trump wants to shut down parts of the internet, remember?

Walling off, oh, 15% or so of the nation's GDP. Cunning plan, there.

I agree with TRUMP...

“I would certainly be open to closing areas where we are at war with somebody,” he said. “I sure as hell don’t want to let people that want to kill us and kill our nation use our Internet. Yes, sir, I am.”... he wants to knock out the infrastructure that provides Internet access in areas of Syria and Iraq that are controlled byISIS.

Jerry Brown endorses Trump

A Trump sycophant tells a blatant lie.

Of course, nothing could be more fitting than that...
