LMAO Riiiight an entire segment of the population that hasn't voted republican in a long time all of a sudden switches their allegiance. Do you know how stupid that sounds? rhetorical
Look quit telling people what to do because you have no problem with sleazy politicians.

That "entire segment" has supported Cochran in previous elections. That's one of the reasons Cochran turned to them. That "entire segment" knows they are likely to get a Republican Senator, and since they are part of the electorate, they are entitled to have a voice in which Republican they get.
I doubt they ever supported the Tea Party, so voting against a TP candidate is hardly switching allegiance, especially since it's a foregone conclusion that whoever wins will be a Republican anyway. It's called voting for the lesser of two evils, and voters do that all the time on both sides of the aisle.
Blacks in Mississippi support democrats. Period.
Keep trying.
Apparently, you're wrong about that. Some support the Republican of their choice.
Apparently, you still don't get it. Blacks support the democratic party. No matter what deceitful spin you try to put on it you're wrong once again. Business as usual.
Still waiting for you to prove I don't want blacks to vote. Are you done lying about what I post?

And yet, a number of blacks supported Cochran. No matter how hard you try, you can't deny that fact. This thread wouldn't exist if that weren't true.
But you must not know that an overwhelming majority of blacks support the democratic party.
Keep trying.
That doesn't matter. I live in a Republican-dominated area. I'm a liberal. And I vote for Republicans all the time. When you're going to get a Republican judge, a Republican mayor, a Republican state representative, a Republican Senator, no matter what, you weigh in on which Republican you're going to get. Because once these people are elected to office, they represent ALL the people, not just the Republicans.

It's not that you don't want blacks to vote. It's that you don't want them to vote in a Republican run-off. But when that Senator is in Washington DC, he's representing all the people of Mississippi. So why shouldn't blacks vote in the run-off to help determine which Republican will be THEIR Senator?

This is the real crux of the matter. Democrats in Mississippi know they are going to have a Republican senator. Lovehiscountry doesn't think they deserve the right to help decide WHICH Republican that is, even though he will be THEIR Senator too. He thinks black Democrats in Mississippi should simply shut up and accept whatever white Republicans decide is best for them. There's a name for that kind of thinking...
