not so much washington, but rather the media. the people that would make great presidents would likely upset the mainstream media, and as such would be excoriated much like sarah palin was.

Stay tuned for a special interview with Diane Sawyer, as "Jenny" is unveiled on national TV.

IMO, Condoleeza Rice meets the above requirements, except for #4. The last I heard, she absolutely didn't want anything to do with it.

So, what say you? Please keep in mind that party affiliation is irrelevant here.
The entire premise is "irrelevant here". Absolutely none of your list is part the Constitutional requirements to run or serve as President of the United States.

Thread Title -- Who SHOULD the parties nominate for POTUS?

The parties don't pick the candidates that run for office - they ultimately (through primary or caucus) choose from among the candidates a winner in each State, from the field of candidates.

Add to that - it's beyond goofy to make any candidate jump through the hoop of your criteria which IS both Sexist and Racist. Only a total FOOL would vote for the Leader of this great Nation based on "female" or "minority".

If the GOP were to play the identity politics game, they'd get Susana Martinez in the race.

Condoleeza Rice needs to first try to get elected to something besides President the first time.
She needs to run for Fienstiens Senate seat, she could actually win that.
