Stay within the following parameters:
1. Female
2. Member of a minority
3. Highly qualified
4. Willing to take on the job
5. Has the potential of winning

IMO, Condoleeza Rice meets the above requirements, except for #4. The last I heard, she absolutely didn't want anything to do with it.

So, what say you? Please keep in mind that party affiliation is irrelevant here.

Considering the current situation in Washington I believe anyone who'd make a good POTUS would be too smart to want the job.

Isn't that stated in #3 and #5?

Oh, and burdell, sadly I think you may be absolutely correct! The BEST don't want the job!

Why would you put these insanely tight restrictions on people's answers? There's no one that meets all of these, so this should be a pretty short thread...

So, since you can't think of anybody who meets the stated parameters, no such person exists?
right.

Please name one single person who meets numbers 1, 2, 4, and 5.

Use a little bit of logic. There is only one person in the world who meets both criteria 1 and 5. This person does not meet criteria 2. Therefore there are no persons in the world who can meet all listed criteria.

yes, there are. likely THOUSANDS of them...... but they'll never get the chance.
that's how it goes.
still, the criteria are sexist, racist, and shallow irrelevancies.

GOP can't find anyone meeting the qualifications, particularly #3 and #5. However, Jeb came in close by marrying a Mexican lady and checking off "Latino" as his race - he's now in talks with Bruce Jenner about meeting the qualification #1. Stay tuned for a special interview with Diane Sawyer, as "Jenny" is unveiled on national TV.
