Doesn't matter who their governors are. Massachusetts had only Republican governors from 1990 to 2006 and didn't vote for a Republican for president once. In 2012 Florida Virginia Maine Ohio Michigan Wisconsin Iowa Nevada and New Mexico had Republican governors yet still voted Obama. In addition Arkansas Montana Kentucky and North Carolina had Democratic governors and voted Romney.

Often times governor elections are held on off term elections making it easier for Republicans to win when less people are voting. Not always the case, but definitely a factor in a number of states.

A Republican successful in Massachusetts would have to flip flop on a few issues in order to win enough Southern support to get the nomination. As a result, that person wouldn't stand a chance at winning the general election.

This sounds like the usual, hopeful, desperation, blowhard rhetoric from the Right that has no basis in reality. Because of Republican behavior during the Bush years, and the 8 years thereafter, Republicans are going to be annihilated in 2016. Dems keep the WH, take back the Senate, and the Right continues its free-fall.
So how's that working out?

Reminiscing to the old days where the electoral college was a liberal lock and that infamous "blue wall", before said "blue wall" was exploded by DJT. Oh how times have changed, now liberals are crying about a system that just a few short months ago they loved oh so much. HA

Default Excited for a Republican president in 2016

Yes sir I am happy to see this great nation with a bright future. A president who works for all the people, it's been a long time coming.
