The Blue Wall is what matters most, I Like Spam, and it will be stronger every cycle as demographics will increase the margins within it, as long as the GOP plays the small non-inclusive tent role it now owns.

I can agree with that, that the number of dependents of federally funded social programs is increasing as our demographics change, and that puts a real road block- a "blue wall" if you will- for a party that fails to advocate for increased social spending and depends on calls for reduced taxes when a growing majority doesn't pay taxes.

The Republicans are going to have to reboot to accept, and even propose, new social programs if they are going to get a majority, sooner or later, particularly with so many million on the road to citizenship, the voting booth and the welfare offices.

The BW though, I Like Spam, has below US average social welfare dependency while the Red Wall is above average in dependency. See the BW is where the highest median incomes are. Now I agree they are widening margins against the GOP, but $$$$$ are not the reason. They are doing very well regarding median income.

Notice: Of the 12 worst, 10 are Red Wall Confederate states.

Just because a state is poor, doesn't mean that they are hot to trot for increased federal welfare, but you're chart does show the secret to how the Democrats will expand their base by increasing pressure on resistant states to institute expanded medicaid and other programs to increase dependency on government.

You're count is wrong, BTW.

9 of the 12 poorest states were in rebellion in the 1860's, although I don't see where that is very relevant today. They did take a bad hit in their economies from the civil war which took a while to recover from.

Kentucky, New Mexico and West Virginia were all in the union.

Since 9 of 12 haven't recovered, that would be 150 years and counting from a bad "hit". LOL!

Whoa…
Will that chicken that hasn't hatched yet ever lay an egg?

This far away, the question is ridiculous from any angle one views it. The only (and faint) relevance it has is the fact the last single term Presidency in the U.S. ended in 1992, 23 years ago. This is a new century, and this is a different nation now than it was then.
Historically, 2-term Presidents have been the most common. Several Presidents died during their 2nd term, but they were all elected before they died.

Anything past that is just spinning cotton candy. 20th century America was totally different than 19th century America, which was totally different from 19th century America. At this point, don't count on a damned thing as being probable.

Eh ... personally, I don't think that Hillary Clinton is that bad-looking for her age.

...will she get reelected in 2020?

When I read that I had a flash that she would be in a wheelchair by 2020. Then it occurred to me that it was Bill with his hair dyed black pushing that wheelchair with Hillary seated in it over the cliff.

Umm, after looking at the state by state numbers and adding it up I do not think anyone has any reason the grow about how well they are doing, pretty grim statement about where we are as a Nation. And the good news just keeps on coming, tic, tic, tic time is running out.
