Paul in particular will need a strong man like Denny by his side. Sanders as a socialist is not as far of from the limousiners because they are at heart statists but Paul will need as much help as he can get when it comes to dealing with rupert party establishment.

I also don't want people to forget about Jill Stein who is the Green party Presidential nominee. I think she should choose either Alan Grayson as her running mate (can be very Trumplike yet from the left perspective) or Ellen Brown based on her campaigning for decentralization and alternatives to current financial system. I recommend checking out all 5 segments of her web of debt videos.

Web of Debt - Ellen Brown - 1 of 5

History shows socialism doesn't work. Why Sanders pushes that political ideology is beyond me.

I agree with you in distrust of statists being allowed into your pocket, but aren't gubbermint bailouts already socialist?

Bailouts are a bastardization of the free market. Half of them caused by government mandate to do things not in the financial best interests of the company in the first place.

Most of our problems seem to be coming from solutions nowadays.

We have tried corporatism for a few decades under both Democrats and Republicans and we have seen how well that has worked for most of us. I suggest that Sander's call for support of the working class and free markets might be a welcome change.

Bernie Sanders is the Democrat-inverse of Dick (the dick) Cheney.

Both, hyperbolic bastards.

You realize that "support of the working class" and "free market" is inherently contradictory right?

All Sanders wants is more government control over the already heavily regulated economy.

I have no comment on the candidates in question but I do think we need a political revolution. The political status quo is leading us nowhere.

I'm pretty sure former New Mexico Republican governor Gary Johnson was the 2012 Libertarian presidential nominee. I should know, I voted for him.

Sanders reminds me of the Greek prime mister. Most just bad mouth others really. He is a socialist who votes with Democrats for the campaign funding. Same as Paul on other side.
