So Trump is going to advocate a few hundred billion to bring the mentally ill back under control? It is no small undertaking. If you are going to go out and get help for all those with anger control problems.
I would think that does not work on the right. More expansion of government.

Trump: Fix 'Massive Problem' of Mentally Ill, Let Gun Owners Be
And does Donny actually have a plan?
Considering he's campaigning for the nomination of a party allegedly in favor of less government/less spending he seems to be all-in for spending a whole bunch of other peoples' $$$ to: round-up/deport 11,000,000 illegals, build a 1900+ mile fence, and now fix the massive problem of mental illness.
If a Democrat proposed these things all we'd hear would be whining about those free-spending loonie lefties but Donny gets his butt kissed as if he's the font of some ancient wisdom.
In a nation that expressed more outrage over a naked-nipple at the Super Bowl than over wasteful wars of choice and that takes the shenanigans of the Kardashians as being somehow important to the fabric of life , I guess we shouldn't be surprised.
People with various mental disorder have become the scape goat by pro gun groups and politicians.
It is unfortunate.
Not really, what happens is we think we can medicate everyone to fix things. It isn't a bad idea but during the implementation the problem people don't often keep taking their meds thinking they are alright.
Schizophrenia as an example needs their medications or without it they are major problems. They stop their stuff and their can be violence or very expensive care not far behind.
We don't have the money to watch these people 24-7, so maybe how you fix this is you make them live close to a places where they will be required to go in daily to get their medication in front of witnesses. Then if they don't in you go get them.
If we don't do that then you go back to what people across the world used to do which is lobotomies.
I doubt many conservatives give 2 cents about anyone named Kardashian.
A democrat would never propose "these things" because most politicians aren't interested in solving the actual problem, they just want to point to a problem and then use it to create fear and restrict rights.
Similar to the Bernie "income inequality" thread. Where he makes a good point about money controlling the politicians, but rather than addressing the laws that allow for such cash control, he'd rather steal from the wealthy in the name of income equality.

How many civil rights are you planning on violating in this plan above? I counted a couple just right off the bat.
Especially since someone with mental issues is no more dangerious than an average person.
Would you support such crazy ideas to limit black males from having guns since they are more likely to harm others than any other demographic?
