Too bad Ken that the polls didn't count with "O" that the majority of people didn't want O-care passed/signed in the first place. Pelosi saying (paraphrasing) that you need to pass it to see what's in it - what a sick joke and "O" was still voted in for a second term even more sick.

Ken

Popularity plummeted? That is why they gained control of the Senate soon afterwards and even more of a majority in the House?
What stats are you being fed?
According to the 2014 mid terms, it helped more than it hurt.

I say we do it more often, even when there is a Republican in Office, trying to by-pass the Constitution constantly.

Apparently people didn't dislike Obama as much as you think eh?
Again, whether or not people are/were happy with Obamacare is entirely different issue than whether or not they wanted the government shut down to repeal it. The GOP wingnuts shut down the government in an attempt to force funding for Obamacare to be cut - and they took a beating in the polls for it - getting the LOWEST Congressional approval ratings EVER. Seems you folks haven't learned a thing. For the Democrats that's a GOOD thing.

No Ken - the freebie getters came out in force to vote for him so to keep those freebies.

Simple really!

The many people who actually pay O-care premiums will suffer more $ ache in 2016 when their rates are scheduled to go even higher on top of the already too high premiums already with ultra high deductables and wait United Healthcare is said to be exiting O-care within a year so if that were to happen more people to scramble for a different provider on top of if they don't need to change their doctor(s) AGAIN after the "O" lie that if one likes their doctor they could keep their doctor. Great job dems (NOT!!!!) as only dems voted in O-care with NO "R" votes. I know of many people struggling paying for this as it is.

Yes, 'Popularity plummeted". This is just ONE of the many polls of the time.

Republican Party Favorability Sinks to Record Low

More info:

Polls: Shutdown nightmare for GOP - POLITICO

Even FOX news had to fess up to it:

Fox News Poll: 81 percent disapprove of Congress, 49 percent disapprove of Obama | Fox News

Why the hell do you think the GOP knuckled under on the issue? - because their popularity was SOARING?????

Their success in the 2014 election (a year later) had less to do with faith in the GOP than it had to do with the fact that the Democrats had many more seats to defend in that particular election than the GOP had. That's a situation that was the OPPOSITE of this upcoming election, so I wouldn't count on the GOP maintaining control of the Senate.

Ha! The way the "R" majority senate is "running" there isn't much of a difference anyway.

And now you know why Hillary was pandering to Black lives matter a few days ago.
Scraping the bottom of the barrel to gather up as many voters as possible.
She will screw blacks just as hard as she is going to screw everyone else if she is elected.

Again with the stooooooopid "freebie" claims. You sure didn't learn anything from Romney's trouncing did you?
Obamacare will be just fine. Every year that goes by will have more of the highly-coveted young/healthy folks signing up as the tax penalties for not doing so are phased in. And no, United Healthcare has NOT said they are "exiting within a year", only that they are "considering" it UNLESS enrollment of those young/healthy folks increases (which it will).
