Because they may think he is the best candidate for their views? Just guessing here but then that is all that you are doing.

conflicting reports about the meeting:

trump said:

"The beautiful thing about the meeting is that they didn't really ask me to change the tone,"

and a couple pastors said:

[ Bishop George ] Bloomer said he told Trump that "if he wants to have our ear as a community, to at least tone down the rhetoric some kind of way, tone it down. And he said that he would."

Pastor Al Morgan of Launch Ministries in Raleigh, North Carolina, said part of the group's discussion focused on whether Trump should lighten up a bit.

"What he said was that he would take that into consideration," Morgan said.

Because they think that he is the best chance that they have to promote their agenda?

Anyone with more than half a brain should realize there is NO WAY that group of pastors were ever going to endorse Trump. The story stunk from the get-go.

Ken
Actually, anyone with "half a brain" would realize that they don't know and cannot predict with any accuracy what this group will do. That would include you.

My fear is that the pastors will fear reprisal from their congregation if they endorse Trump, even if they themselves are won over by him. Unfortunately, too many people rely on soundbites, distorted accounts in the media, and a preconceived negative opinion of Trump to allow their minds to be open and actually learn what he stands for.

As do so many posters on CD.

Don't answer a question with a question. Just answer the question.

Could that be because of all the leftist postings?

When did I say I support Presidenr Obama at this point in time? I've even expressed that there are things I diisagree with him on.

As for Hilary, I've never once supported Hillary.

Come up with something better if you want to try and refute my post.

Your attempts at refuting any post that disagrees with your obvious bias on the subject and refusal to submit any alternative to statements made in support of Trump as your knee jerk reaction.
