The day you have done 1/10th for this country what Bob Dole...who was horribly wounded in WWII and went on to serve in the senate honorably for decades, or John McCain who was held POW in the Viet Nam war for many years and came back to serve in the senate honorably for decades....you MAY have 1/10 the right to call these heros names. Until then, shame, shame on you.

After this last post by LML, I'm wondering how we ended up with Bush and Cheney! There's two cowards that ran from active duty in any way they could! However, they have no problem currently sending young men and women to die for their country in active duty in Iraq. Not everyone has a "Daddy" with connections...

Boy is that ever the truth. Personally, I'd like to see us go back to the really olden days when a king had to LEAD his troops into battle. If they don't think it is important enough for THEM to die for then they should not shed the blood of our young mean and women. But the cold blooded plotting and planning that Bush, Cheney, and Rumsfield did to land us into their blood for money war is the most horrendous thing I have seen our government do in my lifetime.

Well first of all, you have no idea! Secondly I admire and respect their service in the armed services. As far as serving honorably for decades in the senate, thats EXACTLY the problem with washington in general and the republican party specifically! Neither makes either qualified for President of the United States! I always remember Bush 41's words when people tried to refer to him as a Hero!

I agree with you here, but your previous post leaves me with the feeling that you've taken John McCain at face value and have ignored his 'other' faces. I don't think that getting special treatment from the NVA because his daddy was an admiral qualifies Mr. McCain to make any claims of 'hero' status for his incarceration as a POW.

I DO think that him and John Kerry BOTH were up to NO GOOD when they quashed the investigation into the POW's that were left behind. I'd really like to get some answers about that, and I'm not alone.

The only thing romney supporters know how to do is call the politician names. They have been calling McCain all sorts of nasty names too.

It's not 'calling names' when the accusations are TRUE...

The real voters will make their voices heard tomorrow. I am expecting some conspiracy theories when and if McCain wins big tomorrow.
