The favorite country of Republicans is Israel. Is Israel living in a different reality? All women serve. Women want equality, so that means all the benefits and disadvantages of it.
It's true and appears to be quite effective.

Keep in mind that it was always the Democrats that pushed for female draft registration as well as the democrats that created the current requirement for draft registration in the first place. It had ended in 1975 under Ford. Carter put it back in place in 1980.
This conversation about women came up when they reinstated draft registration for all 18 year old males under the Carter Administration. Big discussion on whether to require women to register as well. Ironically it was the Democrats that wanted women to register. The Republicans were against it.
Factoid. Any male born between early 1957 and until the end of 1959 was never required to register.
If a draft under the existing rules ever took place, it is likely that one or more of the male draftees would file suit on equal protection grounds and be almost certain to win. A draft that is designed to discriminate based on gender would never sustain a legal challenge.
I don't see what the problem is, if I as a male can be drafted than women should too. I believe that national defense is a universal obligation and that in a a time of war (an actual war declared by Congress) all citizens should serve in some capacity on the homefront or overseas.
BTW: not all draftees would serve in combat arms units. The modern US Army has 7 support arms soldiers for every combat arms soldier.
Does anyone really believe the enemy would treat female POWs equal to males?
Regardless of the treatment of women by the enemy, my issue is the fact that it is inherent in males to be protectors and as a result. having females on the front lines will result in more injuries and fatalities of our soldiers.
Sorry people, but that is the unvarnished non-PC truth. Even The Daily Beast sees it.
Depends who the enemy is. We (the US) are/can be enemies of others; how do/would we treat their female POWs?
Could you tell me which of our enemies would treat our female POWs as good as we would treat theirs? What do you think ISIS would do with an American woman POW?
