No one can buy votes or an election, common sense should tell you, VOTERS elect candidates NOT PACs.

What happens when all candidates are backed by different PACs of the same interests/members?

Actually the most HUUGE hurdle will be to tell INSURANCE Company's..to ****..and go into Extended Care policies..then all that means is instead of paying premiums to a "Profit Margin'd Insurance Company", who hikes rates annually by double digits..to having deductions toward Universal HC by deduction on paycheque...and those deductions ( since it's universal) will be far far less than what Premiums you pay today, last year and even years+++ ago..

Why? Because the actual HC payers are increased by multi-million...ALL will find costs go down !!! But what the future Congress will do..will block it by bought and paid for Insurance Company lobbyist who line the pockets of Congress in general.....

If anyone ever wants to suggest..(which is more likely than not)..why SHOULD I BE FORCED to pay for someone else's HC...I suggest..because those who can afford HC are in denial..because already YOU are paying for HC for those who cannot afford it now!! So bottomline would be..You will actually come out in a NET GAIN!! situation...Those with $$$ can actually purchase Extended Coverages with your $$$ , which most cannot afford.

Do you think the PACs investment in a candidate might influence their opinions?

A candidate can say whatever, it's what they DO.

How can Sanders and Clinton complain about lower wages and unemployment, but then go on to support amnesty for untold millions of illegal aliens? While bad trade deals and 1% greed play a part in the discussion of income in equality and unemployment, you just can't have a serious discussion on in without discussing the consequences of not enforcing our immigration laws. They have so many good ideas, but lose me on immigration. The pandering to illegal aliens has gone too far. SMH

Doesnt even Bill O'Reilly support a path to citizenship for these people?

Reagan did it as well. The combination of erosion of the minimum wage, weakening of the unions, deregulation of the financial world, weakening of the anti-trust laws and anti-worker trade deals is at the heart of the collapse of the middle class IMO and its not possible to change this if we dont take on the big money influence in politics. We can have a society where the wealth is concentrated in the hands of a tiny elite or we can have democracy, but we cant have both.
