It's obvious (to anyone with a brain) that Sharpton, Jackson, & the CBC are in the tank for Clinton. (God only knows what sleazy deals were made behind the scenes.) And because of the enormous influence these people have in the black community, you can count on the fact that Hillary will get an overwhelming share of the black vote in the primaries (effectively denying Sanders the nomination).

What is really scary to me is that should Hillary become president (which I believe is likely, given the chaos that is going on in the GOP field), she will be indebted to these vile black supremacists. There currently exists an extremely ugly strain of radicalism in the black community (which few white people have the courage to denounce), one which disrespects the police officers and seeks to punish white people by making them pay slavery reparations to blacks.

If one wants to call me a racist for saying so, then I really don't care. But the fact of the matter is that I have extremely little respect for many black voters in this country, given that they are so willing to take marching orders from the likes of the CBC. (Granted, there are a lot of stupid white voters as well, but that doesn't excuse the stupidity of the black community.) You would think that blacks would want to support Sanders, given his past support for civil rights, and the fact that Hillary ran a "racist" campaign against Obama in 2008. If the black community throws its support to Clinton in the primary (as expected), then I don't know how anyone on either side of the aisle can ever again take these voters seriously.

Or how about black voters vote for who they want? Why do they have to vote Sanders? Why can't they vote for Trump or Rubio?

Sandernistas are so hypocritical.

I wonder if black people feel that they are better off now vs. 8 years ago when Obama took office?

I'm not a Bernie Sanders supporter. (Just look at my user-name.) In fact, I despise the radical socialism for which he stands.

That being said, there is little question that Sanders truly believes in the cause of civil rights and (in his heart) cares about the black community. The Clintons, on the other hand, have been playing black voters for fools. (Not only because they are trying to curry favor with the CBC & Company, but also because Hillary is offering bogus praise to Obama. Surely, anybody who is smart has to know that Hillary is merely praising Obama in order to win the black vote.) That is a key point that I am trying to make.

My two cents:

If Hillary wins the presidency it will be because she was supported by international corporations, banks, Wall Street, the Chamber of Commerce, and the Forbes 500 companies. They pull much more weight than Jackson, Sharpton, or any other African American.

Secondly, your recognition of the increasing power of the African American vote in the US is duly noted. Once a community with a poor actual grass roots voting performance, it cannot be denied that since this century began African Americans are turning out at the voting booth in record numbers.

Black turnout will be low this year. Mark my words. There's no Obama, who was at the time, the potential first black president of the U.S.

I disagree, and I think that my fellow conservatives are fools if they honestly believe that.

The fact of the matter is that Hillary is very wisely embracing Obama and the BLM movement in order to maximize the black vote. She is pretending to run as an Obama third term, and that plays very well in the black community.

The problem is that once she becomes president, extremely liberal African-Americans will be empowered as never before. They will demand that Hillary toe the line on their agenda; if that doesn't happen, there will be a civil war within the Democratic Party, the likes of which hasn't been seen since 1968. (In fact, I suspect that--over the next four years--black liberals will realize that the Clintons have been playing them for fools, and will give Hillary only tepid support in her 2020 re-election bid. However, at least in 2016, Hillary can count on a very high level of support among African-Americans.)

In any event, I expect race relations to get much worse during a Hillary presidency. One silver lining to this that perhaps African-Americans (in 2020) will finally realize that they have gotten very little in return for their unconditional support of the Democratic Party; perhaps the time will come when blacks begin to give a higher share of their support to Republicans.

2020!

My goodness, Dole!

I'm just trying to figure out who is going to win the South Carolina primary later this month and you're making predictions for 2020!

Do you have a crystal ball??
