This presents the interesting possibility that in this election we could have a Democrat running as a Republican and a Socialist running as a Democrat.
Perhaps the poster had to do something else too. Not everyone can be on these websites 24/7 you know. That said, Republicans are NOT just conservative like you may think they are.

In my opinion the difference between Democrat and Republican comes down to $$$. Donald's tax plan falls woefully short of qualification for Democrat status.

Now if you really want a RINO, vote for Marco Rubio. Have more babies, doesn't matter if you're legal or illegal (because guess what, illegals can still file taxes, it's called getting a taxpayer identification number (TIN)). We'll triple your tax credit. Doesn't matter that you already get thousands or tens of thousands more back in tax credits than you ever paid in taxes, have more babies, please. We'll triple it.

Oh, perhaps you're right and the poster just chose to exit the conversation. We'll never know, just like we'll never know the difference between his views and the Democrats'.

Still, it's foolish to deny that the identity of the Republican Party since 1980 has been conservative. You may hope that changes and you may well get your wish, but to rewrite history, well how very like a liberal Democrat!

SHORTER W. Fans:

W. Is not to blame for 9/11 because Clinton didn't catch Bin laden.

Obama can't be credited for getting Bin laden because it was W. who set him up.

Ladies and gentlemen, this is the party of "personal responsibility".. Lolz

So I take it you were a liberal until your nativist impulses became too strong to resist.

Yes and no. I actually favor immigration if done right. Some of the most brilliant minds in America are from other countries. You look at doctors, engineers, architects, chefs, etc. So many are immigrants. So many bright, bright people. Those people are driven to work hard and succeed. But you also have a huge contingent of migrants who come here with entitled attitudes, who aren't willing to work, but are rather just looking to milk the system. And they get away with it. And candidates like Rubio pretend to be conservative but they are really pandering to that populace.

So it's either conservatism or liberalism to you. Cool story bro. The fact is that it isn't an all or nothing proposition...

I got a paper cut on my left pinky in 2004. Bush didn't keep me safe.
