I agree-

Bush and Clinton blew it and ignored the threat to the US.

The problem is not Trump. The problem is that the president who put our nation on its deathbed is still popular in South Carolina and South Carolinians still approve of the Iraq War. What is wrong with these people? Even Trump is smarter than these folks.
The same SC Neanderthals booed Ron Paul when he mentioned following the "golden rule" during the 2012 GOP debate. You can bet they also identify as Christians lol

At least the right-wingers are finally starting to see, and admit, what a blunder the Bush years were.

Did you read your link?

According to Black, Bush’s national security team was living in the past.
“I think they were mentally stuck back eight years [before]. They were used to terrorists being Euro-lefties—they drink champagne by night, blow things up during the day, how bad can this be? And it was a very difficult sell to communicate the urgency to this,” he explained.
So, what you and the link are saying is that, the clinton national security team was living in the past....

Unless bush had a national security team 8 years prior to him becoming president....

These 14 will disagree with you:

San Bernardino shooting victims: Who were they? - CNN.com

Hell you cannot even call them terrorist....

From your link.....it must all be false....
The only terrorists the FBI catches are the ones that they create.

This is the pattern that was established during the Bush administration to justify the FBI's $8,000,000,000 a year budget.

Here's more.

Oh and remember the weaponized anthrax attacks that started 1 week after 9/11 and were used as a justification to invade Iraq? That was BS too.

Trump was correct last night.

Bush should have bombed Afghanistan like Dresden. He should have never sent troops there or declared war on Iraq.

9/11 happened while Bush was president, not Clinton. George Bush continued reading, "The Pet Goat" while our country was under attack.

Never said trumph was wrong, matter-o-fact I said he was right, go back and read...

But lets not forget who said it was o.k. to go to war...I believe it was dems...

Oh, and lets not forget these gem quotes:

Quote:
"One way or the other, we are determined to deny Iraq the capacity to develop weapons of mass destruction and the missiles to deliver them. That is our bottom line."
--President Bill Clinton, Feb. 4, 1998
Quote:
"Iraq is a long way from [here], but what happens there matters a great deal here. For the risks that the leaders of a rogue state will use nuclear, chemical or biological weapons against us or our allies is the greatest security threat we face."
--Madeline Albright, Feb 18, 1998
Quote:
"Saddam Hussein has been engaged in the development of weapons of mass destruction technology which is a threat to countries in the region and he has made a mockery of the weapons inspection process."
-Rep. Nancy Pelosi (D, CA), Dec. 16, 1998
