Prior to the GOP debate, there was an article with a general statement of how the tickets would be distributed. That thread has been closed, presumably because it's now obsolete, or I would have added this post-debate info to it. It's illuminating because it suggests it's not just peculiar to the last debate.

Now we have an exact breakdown of who was in the audience. Hint: It wasn't regular voters.

"The Republican National Committee’s Sean Spicer confirmed to Breitbart News pre-debate that the RNC proper distributed 367 tickets while the state party and locally elected officials received 550 tickets. Meanwhile the debate partners—CBS News, the Peace Center, and Google—received another 100 tickets. That means more than 1000 tickets—1,017 by Spicer’s admission—went not to voters in the upcoming election and not to campaigns for equal distribution to their supporters but to special interest distribution of those connected to the party, mostly high dollar donors."

RNC Under Fire Over Debate Audience Stacking-Local GOP Chairman Confirms Party Donors Get Debate Tickets - Breitbart

Apparently, both the Trump and Cruz campaigns complained. Even the lefty media websites are commenting on it. The Trump campaign wants all of the tickets to be equally divided up between all of the candidates.

Please don't get into the debate itself or this will be moved. This is about ticket distribution for debate audiences in general. Dems, if something similar is going on (the debate/townhall audiences are packed with noisy Clinton big donors) please chime in.

Why did that "planted audience" of select Donors give Rubio an enormous, rousing ovation. I was stunned.

So Rubio must be their "boy...in the bubble." That certainly makes Marco Polo ...the most dubious of the horses in the race.

Yup, it was painfully obvious. Rubio went over like a lead balloon in the NH debate and then in SC his supporters cheer so loud and so frequent you think you're watching the Super Bowl.

People keep asking in posts when Jeb is going to drop out, why is he still in the race. THIS is why. The Bush family has tentacles across the country and has been counting on their audience plants to influence public perception of the candidates.

Agreed. That fact is plain and obvious. But, you talking about a led balloon, Bush is that in spades.

So, as I asked in a Thread I started earlier last night, what happens if Trump wins all the coming primaries in a Landslide, and the corrupt RNC Donor control gang fails to let Trump become the GOP Nominee....but instead, gives the nod to Nut case Jeb Bush, or Bubble boy, Rubio?

You talking a Major revolt....The Massive number of Trump supporters will NEVER vote for either of those 2 "Fixed" candidates.

This is going to get so Messy, so nasty, so Ugly....

umm... so, giving the tickets to people who are donors, donor/workers, or workers in the party automatically means that they are favoring one candidate as a block? What, they ask who the potential ticketee is going to vote for, and then don't let them in? Sounds like a trump rally to me.

So, which one is it? I see rubio and bush as suggested beneficiaries of this alleged block of supporters. As if the amount of either boos or applause in a debate is going to affect how people vote? If it does, then the voters are as stupid as y'all think they are, right? Because everyone who doesn't support trump is stupid. Actually, booing a fact (bush was prez on 9/11) sounds pretty stupid to me, so, yeah, y'all might be right on this stupidity thing.

They were there to boo Trump and Cruz and support Rubio and Bush.

Cheap labor, open borders....the Chamber of Commerce is worried, very worried.....So is Wall Street.

They might even vote for Hillary!

In another thread, we discussed the strangeness of the clapping, cheering and booing. It was almost the "canned" noise they used to use in the background on television sets. If you listened carefully, it always sounded the same, the same duration of time, etc. I actually saw hints of this in an article about Hillary debates.

If you looked at the audience, you didn't really see the clapping that you were hearing. Maybe they had a special section of noisemakers?

I think it is past time to be suspicious of everything "media" and "political".
