I am pro-Cruz and LOATHE Rubio.
That said, Rick Tyler (the Cruz spokesman) is one of the biggest asses going. He is pushing me even further into the Trump camp. Typical hack political weasel.
Yeah, I don't like Cruz's spokesperson either. He is annoying.

I can see Marco's complaint if the photoshop was realistic, but it definitely wasn't.
First, Marco has a really fake and stupid grin; he looks like Bob from the Enzyte commercials.
Second, there is such a huge height difference between Obama and Rubio that it's obvious it's fake. In reality, Obama is 6'1" and Rubio is 6'0" . . . . in his stilettos.

The political consultants have ruined politicians. No one can ever trust someone who poll tests every utterance. It is why Donald Trump was such a popular candidate, though I think Trump could use a little advice on how not to alienate people and criticize people on their policies instead of their looks or some nasty name-calling.
I never really understood how Cruz gets a reputation as being an outsider. He is very much in line with the GOP platform, warts and all. He just doesn't have any friends in Washington and has promised to be a partisan hack who won't work with Democrats. I don't think I have ever seen a presidential candidate run on the idea of being a divider. Usually they run on being a uniter, even though they tend to be dividers because of party politics.
It was definitely a dumb move on the Cruz side of things especially when attached with that caustic of a reply. On a humorous note though The New York Times supplied such a picture in their article
That's it? It isn't that bad. This seems pretty standard stuff from campaigns past. I swear, the GOP has set this up to absolutely destroy whatever candidate makes it through the gauntlet of debates. They did the same thing in 2008 and 2012. Both races were so acrimonious that the last man standing was already pretty much destroyed by the time the general election came along.
Why not force the lower tier candidates to drop out sooner? Of course, this year Trump is making the party want to keep everyone in to have a brokered convention, but they do it every four years even without a candidate they hate so much they're willing to lose it all rather than have him as their nominee.
