Here's some food for thought---Trump is refusing to take money from the mega-rich donors as he knows how that works, having done it himself. He knows that when politicians take those large donations, they then become beholden to the donors, the heck with their constituents. So what then happens, the pols pay lip service to their constituents knowing full well that they have no intentions of honoring the promises made on the campaign trail.

Again, no way would I vote for a Kasich/Rubio ticket.
I did vote this morning. I don't mind telling you. I voted for the Republiccan not named Trump who was polling highest in my state, which meant Rubio. I made that decision on Friday. If it had been Kasich with the better chance then I would have just as easily chosen him. If it had been Cruz in that spot I might have been agonizing over it more, but most likely would have chosen him. I don't think I would have chosen Carson, though, and would having voted for whoever was polling highest among Rubio, Kasich, and Cruz. I know Trump will win but I wanted everyone to know that not everyone wanted him.

I am going to have a great deal of agonizing in the general if your boy Trump gets the nomination. Sigh.....

No need to agonize. You can do what I did in '08---vote third party.

I like Kasich. He seems like a thoroughly honest and decent guy, and I think he'd be a good president. Rubio has way too many skeletons and the moon is too anti-establishment for this to work.

And you don't think that Trump, having been a mega-donor himself, will operate in his own best interest vs ours. Can't see that. To me, this is just another way for him to rig the system so that he will be the beneficiary in some way, shape, or form. Just can't believe that he cares about me more than himself, or how he can get me to invest in something with a 'no return' policy. Nobody is offering that, I understand, but maybe looking for a more solid product if I'm going to invest.

Honestly, sick of all of them but can't ***** if I don't vote!

Kasich certainly has a chance at Ohio and he's already mentioned he's not interested in being a VP.

Nope. I don't see it as cynically as you do. If he was in it for himself, then why would he deny (even return) contributions from mega-rich donors?

Nobody else is talking about the wall and stopping illegal immigration. That's why Trump is winning. Romney would be president right now if he hadn't waffled about this subject. Romney was ahead in the polls then people started saying he could not win without the Hispanic vote. I think they were wrong and I think the polls are wrong that most people want these illegals in our country. They are sucking the life out of our country because they are totally parasites and contribute next to nothing. We are feeding, clothing, housing and paying for their education and they are too lazy to even learn English. Our citizens deserve a break.

Hillary Clinton needs to stop separating our country with this racist PC junk.

Agonizing about Cruz myself. What a weird year this has turned out to be....reminiscent of the '92 election, but so much worse.
