Yes, the protesters who were violent were wrong and they should face criminal charges. But it's a two-way street, people. You reap what you sow. Trump's rallies are nothing if not spectacles of belligerence and belittling - that's all the man does, and violence is where the rhetoric leads to. Notice that no one is body-slamming people at Cruz, Rubio, Clinton, or Sanders rallies. Now why is that?
"I'd like to punch him in the face," Trump said, remarking that a man disrupting his rally was escorted out with a smile on his face. "He's smiling, having a good time."
"In the old days," Trump added, protesters would be "carried out on stretchers."
"So if you see somebody getting ready to throw a tomato, knock the crap out of 'em, would you? Seriously. Okay? Just knock the hell — I promise you, I will pay for the legal fees. I promise. I promise."
And this rhetoric is...presidential to Americans? Have we ever before had a president who engaged in this kind of trash talking, like some low-class bum at a dive bar? It is sobering that we have so many primitives here who think this kind of utterly repulsive, low-class behavior is something to be emulated at the highest levels of our political representation. And people said Obama was divisive... how is threatening and insulting everyone different from you anything other than the very definition of divisive?
Then again, this from the guy who asks his supporters to pledge their allegiance to him rather than the other way around, as if this was 1939. Trump is certainly not the first popular, charismatic, and divisive figure in history on the political stage...
People are talking about it. I mean we've got video of some hick sucker punching a guy recently, and we've seen the violence. Mostly minor to be honest, but extremely disturbing in its origins.
If Trump supporters acted up at Dem rallies the way Leftist act at Trump events, they would be killed by the mob. Leftists are liars and hypocrites...end of story.

Partially although the bigger reason is that Conservatives believe in free speech and the rule of law to decide things fairly. Let's be honest, if I were to go to a Hillary or Bernie event in Flint or Chicago and acted the way these anti-Trump supporters are acting, at the very least, I would be beaten severely if not knifed to death.

If a liberal agitator gets violent with a Trump supporter, that Trump supporter has the right to respond with violence in the form of self-defense. It's not the same when people are defending themselves with violence, but maybe you don't understand that.

Lol...just a bit drama queen there? Yes, you would get KNIFED TO DEATH at that Hillary rally!
And what about Kasich, Cruz, Rubio? And before him, Bush and Carson? Where are/were the violent protesters at those rallies?

Yes, I definitely see all those white Trump guys in that second video taking turns shoving that black woman around out of "self defense"... your excuses are ridiculous.
Truth is that the most violent rhetoric in this campaign season has come from one guy: Trump.

Robert Bullock. Google the name. Apparently, if a black man leaves the reservation and supports Trump, he is fair game for murder. Another example of that "Tolerant Left", huh?
