Methinks that the anger at the thought of the establishment "stealing" the nomination is a little over the top. To win the nomination, a candidate must have a majority of the delegates. If no candidate has a majority, nothing is stolen, because no candidate won in the first place.

The candidate leading in the delegate count going into the convention is usually nominated, but if a leading candidate can't convince a majority of the delegates that it is in the best interest of the party to nominate him, then he shouldn't be nominated. Delegates aren't supposed to be robots.

Not only that, but these Conservative-lite types never win anyway. Democrats and independents (former Dem voters) are not going to cross-over and vote for a Republican no matter what. It's not about the candidate, but more so what the establishment represents. That much was obvious after Mitt Romney's last run as a moderate. The GOP is going to have to go full conservative with either Trump or Cruz and test the "silent majority" allegation that they've been claiming. Atleast with either Cruz or Trump, you can justify the nomination, plus increase your chances of winning by testing the theory; but with Kasich, like you said he becomes a "system nominee" and a guaranteed loss.

Going out in the cold winter weather to vote was for nothing!
Your vote on the Dem side means nothing, either, you all just haven't figured that out yet.
