Really? Trump is viewed unfavorably by a third of all women, nearly two-thirds of independents, 80 percent of young adults, 85 percent of Hispanics and nearly half of Republicans and Republican-leaning independents. Those are all up significantly from just 2 months ago. He was only down 3 points to Hillary in polls just a month ago but has already sank to a nearly 11 point deficit. You call that getting more popular? LOL!! Trump fans really do not live in reality.

As of today, Paul Ryan is the new go to guy who apparently might get the nomination at the dog and pony show GOP convention if Trump or Cruz don't get the requisite 1237 delegates. Ryan is the guy who made millions with Boehner by getting Obama's Trans-Pacific Partnership passed, which is just another destroyer of American jobs.

I have to laugh because Dems beat their chests about income equality, yet support Obama's TPP, which creates an even bigger problem with income equality, among other persevering problems:

“'Make no mistake, it’s certainly going to increase income inequality, and it will, in all likelihood, lead to offshoring a job loss,'” Scott said. Perhaps what is most worrying, though, is the potential that TPP, or any trade agreement, could slow the reshoring of American jobs, especially in some fields such as auto-parts manufacturing, which states in the South such as Tennessee and South Carolina are competing to attract."

How the Trans-Pacific Partnership Threatens America's Recent Manufacturing Resurgence - The Atlantic

Ryan also supported 250,000 additional H1-B visas so corporations can terminate good American citizens to input more foreign workers.

Wisconsin workers put out an article over the past few days about how free trade has harmed many workers who lost jobs, can't find new jobs. They're struggling to decide to vote for Trump or Cruz. Wait until they find out their vote may actually go to a traitor like Paul Ryan.

I think the Republican Party is between a rock and a hard place.

Nominating Trump is political suicide for the GOP? Perhaps.

Nominating Cruz is political suicide for the GOP? Probably.

Nominating someone else who didn't even run in the primaries is political suicide for the GOP? Presumably.

Trump is viewed so unfavorably by the world - and Cruz can't even beat Trump. Your argument collapses on it self.

Obviously Cruz is more unfavorable than Trump, he has less votes.

75% of Republican voters are against Cruz.

Incorrect. Cruz has a better favorable/unfavorable rating than Trump, he's more popular than Trump among every, single demographic and he does better against Hillary in the polls. Unfortunately, its not translating into votes because about 35-40% of GOP voters are stuck on stupid and the field was so big up until recently.

I guess he's going for the quantity and not the quality in posts!

I do wonder with his tremendous amount of hatred he has for Trump, does he feel it pulsating in his veins everyday when he wakes up? Does the hatred ooze out of all of his pores throughout the day?

How is Cruz more popular than Trump? Trump has over 2 million votes than Cruz?

Are people voting for who they like or dislike?

I suppose that's why he loses to Trump over and over again except for a few small states with caucuses and Cruz's home state of Texas. That's not the signs of being Mr. Popularity is it?

At least Trump has the most votes so far.

Pretty much how I see it.

I don't think the OP hates Trump as much as he is confused as to how somebody running for POTUS can say so many ridiculous and hateful things and yet people support him.

It confuses me too because I don't believe there are enough hateful racists to support Trump.
